MY STORY

  Joel Hoeks is a country artist born and raised in Langley, British Columbia. Growing up, he split his time between working on a farm during the week and a custom chopper shop on weekends, later joining his family’s waste management business. Between long days and early mornings, music was always playing—shaping the sound and stories that would eventually find their way into his songs. What once felt out of reach became real when he picked up a guitar in 2019, writing his first song just a year later. Now emerging as an artist, Joel brings a raw, honest perspective to his music—rooted in real life, hard work, and the experiences that built him. With his debut single set to release soon, he’s just getting started.
